5. Season 3, Episode 10: "Janet(s)"

While not necessarily important to the plot, this episode is just a testament to D’Arcy Carden’s skills as an actor. When the gang is almost caught by Bad Place demons and shipped off to The Bad Place, Janet transports them and Michael into her void. Once in her void, they lost their bodies and all looked like Janet. Not only did Carden have to act like a malfunctioning robot, she also had to act as the other characters talking to each other, while acting alone in a studio. The characters do learn things, like Jason and Janet were once married, and Eleanor tells Chidi that they were once in love and she still might be and Chidi says he is not. This rejection makes Eleanor realize she is still in love with him.
