Clippers vs. Lakers: Who Runs L.A.?!

It is probably going to take a lot more than a few big wins to win over Los Angeles…. especially over the Lakers. The Lakers have been the home to many greats. They’ve had Kobe Bryant, who is arguably the greatest Laker of all time. The guy has won 5 championships with the Lakers.

They’ve also had Magic Johnson, who has three MVP trophies with the team. Then there’s my favorite, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

And, we can’t forget about Wilt Chamberlain and Shaq. Sheesh!! So many GREATS on ONE team! It seems almost greedy...

Not to mention, the Lakers are one of the best teams in the entire league! They’ve won 16 NBA championships… 16!!!! The only other team to have won more championships is the Boston Celtics. The Clippers have never even made it to the second round of playoffs!

In all honesty, I’m a Clippers fan. I have stuck by my team through ALL the lows, but they have a lot to prove if they want to run L.A. I definitely think they have a strong chance to run the city this year, but we’ll see how the rest of the season goes.
