Celebs Celebrate LEGOLAND® California's 20th Anniversary and So Should You!

If David Beckham, James Van Der Beek, Will Arnett, Olivia Wilde & Jason Sudekis, plus the Kardashian clan are loving it up at LEGOLAND® California, you KNOW there must be something special about the place.
Sure, there are thousands upon thousands of LEGOS® at each turn, either in bins or built up into every famous building on the planet, but now that the park is celebrating 20 years of existence – there is an infectious celebratory mood happening as soon as you walk through the famous LEGOLAND® California sign. Given the park has turned the big 2-0, YH has put together a list of the Top 20 reasons (you know there are so many more though!) why it’s super cool/fun/exciting to visit LEGOLAND® California right now!
1. The new birthday special – In celebration of LEGOLAND® California’s 20th birthday, the theme park has been giving children 12 and under a free admission on their birthday in the year 2019. Hurry, there’s still time!
2. The all new DUPLO® Playtown, with it’s new LEGOLAND® Express train, has reopened in the most scenic area of the Park.
3. LEGO® City Deep Sea Adventure submarine ride
4. Mini-Land
5. The park isn’t too big, which makes it super easy to walk.
6. The Rides! LEGO® NINJAGO The Ride, Cargo Ace, Coastersaurus, Sky Patrol, etc, etc, etc…
7. LEGOLAND® Water Park, featuring the newest ride Riptide Racers
8. SEA LIFE® Aquarium -- This facility is so stunning it’s worth walking through many times a day.
9. Boats! Ride a boat on the Coast Cruise or make one and race it at Eglor’s Build-A-Build.
10. First time visitor? Tell the ticket booth attendant and they’ll give you a special button.
11. All. The. LEGOS®. They are literally everywhere for kids and adults to play with -- get your creative on.
12. The (free) LEGOLAND® app features up-to-date ride wait times for each attraction.
13. Distance -- The Park, located in Carlsbad, CA, is so close to L.A. that it’s a win/win.
14. Cleanliness. It is so clean at this park. The upkeep is phenomenal.
15. Celebs have been there so it must be cool.
16. Everything is at a child’s eye level, making the trip their experience.
17. LEGOLAND® Castle Hotel. Non-stop excitement and joy wrapped up in one hotel--err, castle. You almost don’t have to leave the hotel to go to the actual park; it’s that on point. And there is a bar strategically placed next to the playground within the restaurant for adults to have some fun too.
18. LEGOLAND® Hotel – The original hotel option when you just want to stay at the park for another day.
19. The food: Granny Apple Fries, Knight’s Smokehouse BBQ, and Ninja Kitchen, just to name a few.
20. The park never feels too crowded that you never want to go back. I’m not sure how they do it, but LEGOLAND® California seems to control the amount of people at the park to ensure you’re never losing your mind waiting on a line for too long or pushing your way through a crowd. Each time I visited, the scene was totally doable.

And there you have it! There are certainly 20 more reasons to visit LEGOLAND® California, but we’ll save those reasons for their 40th birthday. Have fun!
