With over 11 million streams, “Kings and Queens” hasn’t left anyone indifferent. Ava Max started to release some of the conceptual art for it on Instagram a while ago, but we sure weren’t expecting such a sensation!

The Visualizer video was let out on the 12th of March, so we got an early chance to look at the lyrics and the aesthetic Ava was going for – and we weren’t disappointed! Both the message and the melody were very empowering and dynamic, which made the song super catchy and a hit material.

The video starts off with the caption “Side A: Heaven” – which has us already wondering about her next release! While “Kings and Queens” is very aesthetically pleasing and relies on pastel colours, we can expect the next one to be much darker (and I personally can’t wait to see what she has in store for us!).

The glam atmosphere and the angelic vibes kind of remind me of Alice In Wonderland, since we can see a chess board and a crazy cake party taking place. Besides, the famous quote “off with their heads” is there as well, so to me it looks like a little tribute to Alice’s adventures.

Also, her bold hairstyle needs to be praised as well – it looks like the perfect Kings/Queens balance and definitely works for her!

The official video has now over 4 million views, but what are her fans saying?

It’s undeniable that her fan base is very happy with how it turned out, although some people claim that the melody reminds them of Bon Jovi’s “You Give Love a Bad Name” and that the general aesthetic is pretty similar to that in Lady Gaga’s early career. But the final result is definitely a work of her own, and we’re beyond excited to see more of her in the future!
