"Jane the Virgin"
This Netflix series is a personal favorite of mine. Produced by Jennie Snyder Urman and loosely adapted from the Venezuelan telenovela Juana la Virgen, "Jane the Virgin" is an American romantic comedy and satirical telenovela that follows the life of a devout 23-year-old (you guessed it) virgin named Jane. Played by Gina Rodriguez, the young Latina becomes pregnant after an accidental artificial insemination by her gynecologist. It’s absolutely ridiculous and impossible to turn off.
