The breakout star of Thor: Ragnarok, Tessa Thompson would be the purrfect actress to step into the role of Catwoman. Not only did she play the leader of the Valkyrie, an all-female army who rides into battle on a Pegasus, she was also in the newest Men in Black movie. Having played the first woman in black gives her a lot of credibility. Tessa poses the same problem we faced with Lupita, however. As the new Queen of Azgard, Thompson is expected to appear in the upcoming Thor sequel starring Natalie Portman, Thor: Love and Thunder. We can hold out for hope, but just as in Nyong’o’s case, it may not happen.
