Get ready to have your heart put back together and broken all over again!. If you watched Netflix’s hit romance "One Day" and are craving more Em and Dex in your life, look no further. Here are 5 shows to watch if you’re having "One Day" withdrawals!

1. "Normal People"

This British romance was all the rage in 2020 and is the reason we all have Paul Mescal posters on our walls. "Normal People" follows the twisty love story of Marianne (played by Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Connel (Mescal) all the way from high school to young adulthood. Come for the Irish accents, stay for the will-they-won’t-they love story. Connell's character is troubled and brooding, but charming nonetheless, similar to Dexter in "One Day". Don’t say we didn’t warn you, though, and make sure your tissue supply is fully replenished before you start watching. Stream on Hulu.

2. "Bridgerton"

While set in a completely different era than "One Day"’s '80s to early-2000s timeline, "Bridgerto"n Season 2 has the same charm and slow-burn love story that made "One Day" such a fan-favorite. Season 2 follows the enemies-to-lovers story of eldest Bridgerton brother Anthony (Johnathan Bailey) and newcomer Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley). Talk about slow burn! For the majority of the season, Anthony and Kate show such disdain for each other that we are left gripping the edge of our seats, wondering if this fiery couple will finally end up happily ever after. But just like how Em is eventually won over by Dex’s unique charm, so is Kate by Anthony’s cleverness and wit. Stream on Netflix.

3. "Up Here"

If you’re already imagining the Broadway reimagining of "One Day", you may like Hulu’s short and sweet "Up Here", a musical rom-com. Starring Mae Whitman and "The Flash"’s Carlos Valdes, "Up Here" follows two young people following their hearts, along with the musical voices and anxieties in their heads. The quirky voices in their head depict what was probably going on in Dex and Emma’s heads as they went through their troubled, angsty 20s. Stream on Hulu.

4. "Conversations with Friends"

"Conversations with Friends" is another thought-provoking romance from the mind of "Normal People"’s Sally Rooney. Yet another story that takes place on the other side of the Pond, this is a story about two Dublin college students who strike up an unlikely relationship with a married couple. If you loved Episode 4 of "One Day", where Dex and Emma go on a “platonic” Greek vacation, then you’ll love "Conversations with Friends", which makes a romantic pit stop in stunning Croatia. Plus, you’ll fill that dreamy blonde Dex hole in your life with lead Joe Alwyn. Stream on Hulu.

5. "Starstruck"

Want the same will-they-won’t-they wit and chemistry of Em and Dex’s love story without all of the tears? "Starstruck" is for you! The U.K. comedy is definitely much lighter and more screwball than "One Day", but there are many similarities. Starstruck follows Jessie, a young New Zealand transplant in London, as she accidentally sleeps with heartthrob movie star Tom Kapoor. We all know what comes next, right? Three seasons (yay!) following their romantic missteps take the pair away from each other and on different paths, but just like Em and Dex, they are inevitably drawn back together. Stream on Max.
