The 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards took place on February 26 and the internet won't stop talking about it anytime soon! The 29th annual ceremony streamed live on Netflix’s YouTube page so that everyone could participate and cheer for their favorite actor or movie winning the award virtually. If you, by any chance, missed the amazing ceremony, you can still find the video on YouTube.
As usual, SAG Awards included some of the best and most prominent actors, movies, and TV shows of 2022, and it was the perfect way to reminisce about all the great works and talents of the past year before the biggest event of the film industry - the 95th Academy Awards -- take place on March 12.
But for now, let’s talk about last night’s ceremony. Before talking about all the categories and their winners, we must give a moment of recognition to the fantasy movie Everything Everywhere All At Once, which ruled the day by receiving the most SAG Awards as a standalone film and breaking the record. The multiverse film with the coolest cast won 4 of 6 nominations, which is absolutely incredible, not to mention Ke Huy Quan and Michelle Yeoh becoming the first Asian actors to win in their categories! We should also give a shoutout to Sally Field, who has been nominated for a SAG Award 8 times before (and won one for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series in 2008) and was this year's recipient of the Life Achievement Award.
If you are not in the mood for watching the whole ceremony but still want to catch up in order to take part in all the discussions\, we’re here to help by giving a complete list of all the nominations and winners of SAG Awards 2023! Check out to see if your favorite films, TV series, or artist won any awards this year!
