After being banished from their Puritan community over a dispute, a family living in New England in the 1630s starts to believe they are being tormented by evil and witchcraft.
This movie is hard to describe. Without spoiling anything, I will say that it’s slow to build, but once it gets into the action, it's intense. The VVitch stars Anya-Taylor Joy, whom you might know from other horror films Split and Thoroughbreds. If you don’t really like period films, this might not be for you. But if you are looking for a thought-provoking horror/drama, with a bit of the supernatural, then this is the movie for you!
