Zoe Saldana executive producing digital parenting series

Movie star Zoe Saldana has signed on to executive produce two digital series about parenting.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star will team with bosses at lifestyle network Awestruck to develop scripted and unscripted content.

The mother-of-two will also create a Youtube.com channel with her sisters, Mariel and Cisely Saldana, for the digital platform.

"With modern moms on-the-go and online, the opportunity to create content specifically for them is exciting," a statement from Saldana reads. "The team behind Awestruck has already proven their expertise in reaching young audiences with (parent company) AwesomenessTV, and we are thrilled to partner with them to collaborate on this new, promising venture."

Awestruck is scheduled to debut later this year (15).

Saldana welcomed twin boys, Cy and Bowie, with husband Marco Perego-Saldana in November (14).
