Zedd to join Linkin Park for Chester Bennington tribute show

Dance DJ Zedd will sit in as Linkin Park's drummer for one song during the rockers' upcoming tribute concert to tragic frontman Chester Bennington.

The Numb hitmakers are staging a one-night-only celebration of Bennington's life at the fabled Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on 27 October (17), marking the first time the remaining members of the band will perform together since Chester took his own life on 20 July (17).

Members of Korn, System of a Down, and Avenged Sevenfold have already signed on as special guests for the gig, and now Zedd has revealed he will be joining Linkin Park for one as-yet-unannounced track.

Sharing the news on Twitter, Zedd writes, "I’ll be joining my friends from @linkinpark on the drums to perform a song with them at the Hollywood Bowl on 10/27 in honor of @ChesterBe."

Chester's bandmates will contribute their fees from the event to Music For Relief's One More Light Fund, which was created in memory of the late singer.
