Zayn Malik slams cheating rumors

One Direction star Zayn Malik has slammed rumors he cheated on fiancee Perrie Edwards, after he was photographed holding another woman's hand during a trip to Phuket, Thailand.

Bloggers and gossips suggested The Story Of My Life hitmaker was secretly romancing a girl identified as Lauren Rich following the release of the snaps earlier this week (beg16Mar15).

And Rich also took to Instagram.com to post a photo of herself posing next to Malik, who has his arm around her waist. She added the caption, "Partying with Zayn from One Direction last night#best #night".

Fans immediately took to social media to express their outrage over the photos and suggestions the pop star is cheating on the Little Mix star, prompting Malik decided to take matters into his own hands.

He wrote, "I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous f**ks in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like."

Malik and Edwards have been dating since 2011 after meeting during their stints on U.K.'s The X Factor, and they became engaged in 2013.
