Zach Braff hits $2 million Kickstarter target

Actor Zach Braff has smashed his online goal of raising $2 million to finance his new movie after just four days.
The former Scrubs star launched a Kickstarter.com campaign on Wednesday (24Apr13) to raise enough for his latest project Wish I Was Here, a follow-up to 2004 comedy-drama Garden State.
He promised fans incentives such as art prints, advanced screenings
and even the chance to appear in the film for the most generous
donor - and on Sunday (28Apr13), he reached his target.
Braff's scheme gained more than 30,000 backers, while a similar
campaign for a Veronica Mars movie broke Kickstarter records
earlier this month (Apr13) when it sailed past 88,000 backers to
become the most-supported project in the fundraising website's
history.
