Zac Efron's flop film lands a soundtrack number one

Zac Efron and his We Are Your Friends castmates finally have something to smile about after the film became one of the biggest box office flops of all time last month (Aug15) - the soundtrack has topped Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

We Are Your Friends: Music From the Original Motion Picture, which features dance tracks by Deorro, Juicy J & Tyga and AlunaGeorge, has shot up the countdown from 10 to one.

The movie raised just $1.8 million from 2,333 cinemas, scoring the worst opening of all time for a new major studio offering showing in 2,000 or more theaters, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
