Yung Joc slapped with default judgment in jewelry lawsuit
Rapper Yung Joc has been hit with an $80,000 default judgment in his lawsuit with bosses at an Atlanta, Georgia jewelry company.
Bosses at Aydin & Company sued the It's Goin Down star in August (15), claiming he failed to pay $17,500 for a ring and bracelet he picked up from the company in 2009.
According to Bossip.com, the 32 year old was served the legal
papers in August, but failed to respond and the jewellers were
awarded the $79,900 they were seeking for full payment, interest
and attorney's fees earlier this month (Nov15).
Yung Joc has yet to respond to the ruling, but the jewellers'
lawyer, Shelitha Renee Robertson, tells the publication, "The next
thing we'll do is take the necessary steps to enforce the judgment.
It's a prime example of justice prevailing."
