Rapper Wiz Khalifa is facing legal action from a songwriter who has accused the star of plagiarism.

Max Gregory Warren, from Pennsylvania, filed a lawsuit in the state last Friday (30Dec11) alleging Khalifa based hit track Black and Yellow on one of his songs.

In the legal papers, Warren claims the 2010 chart hit was copied from a song he wrote in 2007 called Pink N Yellow.

He is suing for fraud and deceit, copyright infringement, civil conspiracy and unjust enrichment, and is seeking more than $2 million in damages, according to Allhiphop.com.
