West spends time with Kardashian family in New York

Kanye West stepped up his blossoming romance with Kim Kardashian by spending the weekend (21-22Apr12) with the reality TV star and her family in New York.

The new couple sent gossip bloggers into a spin earlier this month (Apr12) when Kardashian was spotted leaving West's Big Apple apartment the morning after they enjoyed a movie date together in the city.

The Stronger hitmaker, who recently went public with his "love" for the curvaceous beauty on his new song Way Too Cold, has continued to woo Kardashian and they reunited in the early hours of Saturday (21Apr12), shortly after the socialite arrived with her sister Khloe and manager mother Kris Jenner from Los Angeles.

An eyewitness tells Life & Style magazine, "It was clear Kim and Kanye couldn't wait another second to see each other because he showed up at the hotel she's staying at just moments after she checked in!

"Around 1.40 am, they headed out for a romantic date at Mercer Kitchen. They stayed until around 3am."

The source adds, "They looked very happy to see each other and in love. They both headed back to Kanye's apartment for the night."

Later on Saturday, West and Kardashian - who is currently going through a divorce from basketball player Kris Humphries - were snapped shopping in the trendy SoHo area before meeting up with Jenner, Khloe and her other sister Kourtney, and the reality star has made it clear she's having a blast.

In a series of Twitter.com posts on Saturday, she wrote, "Oh how I've missed you New York! Hi dolls! I'm so happy to be in NYC with the whole fam! Fun week! Have a good weekend guys!"
