Virgin Atlantic's accused leaker quits
A female airline employee accused of leaking flight information for stars including Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Daniel Radcliffe has resigned.
The unnamed Virgin Atlantic worker was said to have passed information about 68 A-listers' travel plans to the Big Pictures Photo agency in London.
The accused staff member, a junior employee assigned with looking
after high-profile clients, has denied the allegations but she left
her post on Thursday (05Apr12).
Other stars said to have been affected by the scandal include
funnyman Russell Brand, British royal Princess Beatrice, Nicole
Scherzinger, and actresses Charlize Theron, Kate Winslet and
Scarlett Johansson, among others.
A statement from Sir Richard Branson's company confirms an inquiry
has been launched into the "extremely serious" allegations.
