Victoria Justice donates VMAs dress to prom giveaway
Singer/actress Victoria Justice is donating the designer dress she wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards to a lucky schoolgirl to wear to her prom.
The teen star is giving away the strapless Jill Stuart frock as part of a charity initiative to donate unwanted gowns to help needy girls who can't afford to buy their own outfit.
Justice has teamed up with the Donate My Dress organization to
raise money and awareness of the scheme, and one lucky competition
winner will be able to get hold of the star's frock.
Justice tells MTV.com, "Donate My Dress is a really great
organization and one that is really needed to help girls who might
miss out. The costs (of proms) can really add up... I loved that
Jill Stuart dress! It's a really simple cut, but the texture and
color make it really special... I think whoever ends up wearing the
dress should use minimal accessories, because the dress is such a
statement piece."
