Uzo Aduba takes prom date to SAG Awards

Actress Uzo Aduba relived her high school prom night at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (30Jan16) by inviting her teenage date.

The 34-year-old Orange is the New Black star has stayed close to her prom date, named Mark, over the years, and when she was looking to take someone to the SAG Awards, she thought of him.

"He asked me to the prom, I said yes. I asked him to SAGs, he said yes. #sagawards @mcrow55," Uzo wrote under Instagram photos from her big nights now and then.

Her prom date brought Uzo a little luck - she picked up the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series trophy at the SAG Awards.
