Usher's son out of hospital after pool accident

Usher's eldest son is out of hospital and recovering well just days after he nearly drowned in the R&B singer's swimming pool.

The Yeah! hitmaker's five-year-old son Usher Raymond V ended up in an intensive care unit after getting his arm stuck in a pool drain while trying to retrieve a toy at his father's Atlanta, Georgia home last Monday (05Aug13).

Both Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, attended to their son at the hospital during his recovery, but the youngster appeared fit and well when he visited an indoor play center with his grandmother on Monday (12Aug13). A bandage on his right arm was the only sign of the accident.

After the incident, Tameka unsuccessfully tried to regain custody of the former couple's two boys, claiming the singer failed to care for the children effectively.

A judge at Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta ruled against her on Friday (09Aug13) and Usher still holds full custody of the kids, while Tameka has limited custodial rights.
