Usher's ex-wife wants singer to cover her legal costs

Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond has asked a judge to order the singer to pay her legal costs in their ongoing custody dispute.

The R&B star's former partner filed paperwork in December (11) demanding full custody of their sons Usher Raymond V, four, and three-year-old Naviyd, and an increase in her child support payments.

The stylist accused Usher of failing in his parental duties, but he responded by lodging his own legal papers asking a judge to deny Raymond's request because the allegations are false.

But now his ex is stepping up her fight for more cash, filing more documents at Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia asking for Usher to hand over $15,000 to cover her attorney's fees, as well as an extra $35,000 for other costs.

According to TMZ.com, she claims she is entitled to the money because the substantial difference in their incomes puts her at a disadvantage while she's trying to build her case against the star.
