Usher's ex to take part in charity run for dead son
Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster is taking part in a charity run on Saturday (30Nov13) to raise funds for the foundation she created in her late son's name.
Foster's 11-year-old child Kile Glover was killed in a boating accident on a Georgia lake last year (12).
Her inaugural Give Thanks 5K run/walk will take place at Chastain
Park in Atlanta and will benefit the Kile's World Foundation.
The stylist says, "I know when I'll be running, I will be thinking
of him... I'm thinking about him every day, but he was my running
buddy. That's who I used to do my neighborhood jogs with all the
time. He would be the only one who would be like, 'Let's go, mom'.
He kept me going."
Asked if her ex-husband, Glover's former stepfather, would be
taking part in the charity run, Foster says Usher will be abroad
filming Roberto Duran biopic Hands of Stone, but she tells USA
Today, "It's safe to assume that he's supportive in my efforts. He
loves Kile."
Rapper Lil Wayne's ex-wife, Antonia Carter, will also be part of
the fun run.
