Tyra Banks debuts new son on 'happiest Valentine's Day' of her life

New mom Tyra Banks debuted the first photo of her new son on the "happiest Valentine's Day" of her life on Sunday (14Feb16).

The America's Next Top Model host and her photographer boyfriend Erik Asla surprised fans last month (Jan16) by announcing they had become the proud parents of son York Banks Asla, via a gestational surrogate.

And on Sunday, the supermodel posted the first shot of her baby boy on Instagram, with a striking photo of her cradling the tot in her arms.

"This is the Happiest Valentine's Day of my life," she captioned the image. "York, Daddy @erikasla and I send you so much love."

Baby York was nothing short of a miracle for Banks, who divulged last year (15) that she and Asla had been trying to start a family together, and had undergone in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment after struggling to conceive naturally.

When Banks, 42, shared the baby news on her Instagram.com page in January (16), she wrote, "As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world."
