Tyler Perry facing legal action over Temptation movie

Filmmaker Tyler Perry is facing legal action over allegations he plagiarised the script for his latest movie, Temptation: Confessions Of A Marriage Counselor.
William James filed suit against the writer/director in Indiana on Wednesday (23Apr13), claiming Perry's new drama is substantially similar to the plot of his own work, Lovers Kill, about a couple whose marriage is destroyed by the wife's affair.
In his lawsuit, obtained by EOnline.com, James alleges he handed a
copy of Lovers Kill to "an associate" of Oprah Winfrey at the TV
queen's Harpo Studios and was told it would be given to Perry for
his "review and consideration".
The plaintiff is seeking unspecified damages, as well as a credit
in the film.
