True Blood star Rutina Wesley has filed for divorce, two days before the season finale of the cult vampire drama aired.
The actress has split from her husband of eight years, actor Jacob Fishel, citing irreconcilable differences.
Wesley lodged her papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court on 16
August (13) - two days before the latest True Blood series wrapped
up (18Aug13).
The couple met as students at drama school and exchanged vows when
they graduated in June 2005, according to TMZ.com.
