Travis McCoy battles through illness for Saturday Night Live

Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie Mccoy bounced back from ill health this weekend (05Nov11) to join Maroon 5 for a performance on hit comedy show Saturday Night Live.

Gym Class Heroes were forced to scrap the remaining dates on their tour last week (begs31Oct11) after McCoy was struck down with a mystery ailment, but he had recovered enough to appear on Saturday Night Live alongside the Moves Like Jagger hitmakers, who were the musical guests for the night.

A reserved McCoy hit the stage for a rendition of his band's Stereo Hearts single, which features Maroon 5 hunk Adam Levine.

Actor Charlie Day hosted this week's program, which included a surprise appearance from his It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-star Danny DeVito.
