Travis Barker confirms relationship with Rita Ora

Rocker Travis Barker has confirmed he is dating pop star Rita Ora.

The Blink-182 drummer hit headlines last week (ends04Oct15) when reports suggested he had struck up a romance with the R.I.P. singer.

Travis has now spoken about his new girlfriend, revealing they met at a charity basketball game in Los Angeles in September (15).

He also admitted the cheerleader outfit she wore caught his attention.

"I performed there with Tyga and Kid Ink. We had just met through passing. We have a mutual friend named Willie T," he tells Usmagazine.com. "I had walked up and he was like, 'Yo, take a picture with Rita.' And I was like, 'Okay.'

"We just took a photo together, but obviously she's stunning and she's awesome... Of course Rita Ora was like the only hot cheerleader at the whole spot, so you couldn't help but notice her."

They had a brief chat and Rita also met his 11-year-old son Landon.

Travis even showed off his new romance on Instagram.com by posting a picture of the new couple outside a scary maze at the Halloween Horror Nights attraction at Universal Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday (04Oct15).

"At @horrornights with the mama", he wrote in the caption.

The musician also denied rumours suggesting he is still living with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, the mother of Landon and his daughter Alabama.

"One word for that: just thirsty. Thirsty. I have no connection to my baby's mama except that she's the mother of my children. I don't know where those rumours are coming from. That's the craziest thing I've ever heard," Barker tells Usmagazine.com.

"We haven't been romantically involved for six to seven years."

Travis and Shanna divorced in 2008.
