Tori Spelling's marriage troubles to play out on reality TV series
Tori Spelling and actor husband Dean Mcdermott's recent marriage troubles will be at the forefront of their new reality TV series.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star will tackle recent reports her partner was caught cheating in her upcoming show, True Tori.
The six-part run will begin with McDermott leaving a rehab
facility, which he checked into to deal with "personal issues"
after the scandal broke.
A statement from Lifetime network bosses reads: "Tori has made the
courageous decision to allow the audience to witness the most
difficult and unpredictable period in her life.
"Intimate, raw, emotional and completely real, Tori will tell her
story for the first time as it should be told - by her. Since
viewers will be seeing events almost immediately after they occur,
nobody knows how the drama will unfold - not Tori, not Dean - and
only time will tell if Tori and Dean’s marriage survives."
Spelling and McDermott, who have been married for seven years, have
four children, all under the age of six. They have documented their
home lives in reality TV shows since 2007.
True Tori is set to premiere on 22 April (14).
