Tony Romo and Candice Crawford expecting a baby

Chace Crawford is set to become an uncle - his newlywed sister Candice is expecting a baby with Jessica Simpson's ex-boyfriend, Tony Romo.

American football star Tony Romo married Candice Crawford in May (11) after two years of dating, and now the former beauty queen is pregnant with their first child.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback revealed the news during an appearance at a high school anti-drug rally in Texas, saying, "I actually have one on the way. My wife is pregnant."

Coincidentally, Jessica Simpson is rumored to be preparing to become a first-time parent too, although the singer and her fiance, retired footballer Eric Johnson, have yet to comment on the reports.

Jessica Simpson was most recently photographed bearing what appears to be a big baby bump during a shopping trip in New York on Monday (24Oct11).
