The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants castmates reunite in New York
Blake Lively and her The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants castmates have reunited in New York City.
Just weeks after the actress, who played Bridget in the beloved 2005 and 2008 films, hinted at a possible third movie, Lively hooked up with pals Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, and America Ferrera on Friday (08Jul16).
The quartet shared a couple of silly photos on Instagram - in one,
pregnant Lively pretended to poke her finger up America's nose.
The Latina captioned the snap: "All grown up. #blakesfingerinmynose
#ambersfingerinmymouth... #sisterlove
#holdtighttotheonesyoulove."
And it appears the girls had the police killings in Dallas, Texas
on their minds as they caught up.
America also added the caption: "Needed my girls today. The world
is a crazy place. Hold onto the ones you love. And pick their
nose."
The four actresses became fast friends on the set of the 2005 film
adaptation of Ann Brashares' novel and they reunited for 2008's The
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.
"There is a strong chance there might be a third," Blake said
during an interview on SiriusXM's Entertainment Weekly Radio
programme in New York on 21 June (16). "I mean, the four of us are
still best friends and to be able to create something together
again, is something that's always been a dream of ours."
Blake, who is expecting her second child with husband Ryan
Reynolds, added, "I was 16 when I did the first film and I played a
16-year-old and now I'm 28 and I'd be playing a 28-year-old, or
whatever age we end up making the movie, if we did. You deal with
different things, we wouldn't be making a movie for 16-year-olds
again, we'd be making a movie trusting that our audience grew up
with us. I think that would be a really interesting thing to
explore."
