Selena Gomez braved storm warnings to perform at the New York State Fair in Syracuse on Saturday night (27Aug11), but almost had to abandon her show.
As the state braced for Hurricane Irene fans turned out in droves to catch the singer/actress and her band The Scene at the fair.
All went well until a power outage forced her to take an unscheduled pause.
An estimated 10,000 fans cheered her on as she performed her own hits and a medley of Britney Spears songs.
