Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham pleads not guilty to DUI counts
U.S. reality TV star Farrah Abraham has pleaded not guilty to charges relating to her DUI arrest last month (Mar13).
The former Teen Mom regular was pulled over by police officers in Omaha, Nebraska early on 18 March (13), while she was parking her car outside a club.
Her lawyer appeared in court on Monday morning (29Apr13) and
entered not guilty pleas on his client's behalf for counts of
aggravated DUI, refusal to take a field test and disorderly
conduct, reports TMZ.com.
A breathalyzer test conducted at the scene of the incident revealed
her blood alcohol level to be almost twice the state's legal
limit.
Abraham, 20, recently claimed she had just been sick and cranky -
not drunk - at the time of the arrest, and she was confident the
DUI charges would be dropped, saying, "Because I'm sick, I could
not give an accurate breathalyzer test, due to coughing and
shortage of breath... I have a lawyer and all will work out with my
ticket."
