Taylor Swift visits children's hospital in Pennsylvania

Taylor Swift took time out from her busy schedule at the weekend (20-21Jul13) to visit a children's hospital in Pennsylvania.

The Love Story hitmaker performed two gigs in Philadelphia, and she spent time meeting patients at the city's medical facility for youngsters.

Swift made the trip to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in conjunction with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, and the TV presenter/DJ took to his Instagram.com page to reveal all about the singer's impromptu visit.

Uploading pictures from the day, he added, "Wanted 2 (to) share these pics w/ u (with you) guys... Taylor Swift spent some time with the kids... at Children's Hospital Philadelphia...never were smiles bigger."

Swift also showed off her caring side before one of her gigs at the city's Lincoln Financial Field by meeting a young female fan who is suffering from leukemia.
