A fan who invaded the stage during a Taylor Swift concert on Saturday (29Aug15) has pleaded not guilty to all charges stemming from the incident.

Christian Ewing, 26, was arrested at the Petco Park venue in San Diego, California after he ran onstage while the Shake It off hitmaker was performing. He was tackled by security guards and hauled away.

Ewing appeared in a San Diego court on Wednesday (02Aug15) and Deputy District Attorney Jessica Coto accused him of jumping a fence at the concert and injuring a security guard in the onstage altercation.

He admitted being the stage invader but pleaded not guilty to two felony charges of assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury and battery with serious injury, as well as a misdemeanour count of giving police the wrong name. He also denies a municipal code violation for entering a restricted area.

Ewing's bail was set at $100,000 as he is considered a flight risk. He is next due back in court on 14 September (15).
