Taylor Swift 'making new music after Tom Hiddleston break-up'
Taylor Swift is back in the studio making new music following her break-up with Tom Hiddleston, according to her best friend Gigi Hadid.
The supermodel confirmed the news while launching her new collection with designer Tommy Hilfiger at New York Fashion Week on Friday (09Sep16).
"She's obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting
to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be
here for me, and I am so grateful for that," the 21-year-old said
of the Shake It Off hitmaker.
Taylor was spotted on the front row, cheering on her best friend
who was walking the runway. She later shared a video from the
fashion show on Instagram, which showed Gigi strutting her stuff in
her Tommy Hilfiger collection, with DJ Calvin Harris', Taylor’s ex,
hit This Is What You Came For playing in the background.
"SO PROUD OF YOU GIGI!!!! That show was INSANE. Congrats to Gi,
Tommy, and all the girls who just owned that runway!!" Taylor
captioned the post on Friday.
Fans were quick to point out the 26-year-old was singing along to
the track, which she co-wrote with her former boyfriend. The song
is a source of contention between the pair, after Calvin blasted
Taylor on Twitter in July for revealing she had worked on the song
with him but used a pseudonym.
Their break-up was less than friendly, as Taylor got together with
Tom shortly after she ended her 15-month relationship with the DJ
in June. Within weeks of getting together, she and Tom had become
inseparable and she even tagged along to Australia to be by his
side while he filmed his new movie, Thor: Ragnarok.
However, it seems their relationship started to become unmanageable
last month when it’s rumoured they had their first blowout
argument, with pressure from the press cited as the primary cause
for their alleged break-up.
