Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston's Rhode Island reunion

Tom Hiddleston used Taylor Swift's private jet to travel to Rhode Island to reunite with his girlfriend.

The 35-year-old actor has been busy with work commitments in both Australia, where he is shooting new movie Thor: Ragnarok, and Los Angeles, and Taylor was apparently so keen to see her hunky beau after some time apart that she sent her plane to collect Tom from LA to take him to her home in Rhode Island on Sunday (14Aug16).

According to Us Weekly, Taylor was having a family get together at her palatial house in Watch Hill and wanted The Night Manager star Tom to be there.

Taylor is said to have met Tom on the jet when he arrived, before the pair headed back to her mansion, where they spent time with her parents, the outlet reports.

Tom was then seen arriving back in Los Angeles on Tuesday (16Aug16), again on Taylor's aircraft.

It's not the first time Taylor has showed her love for her beau by chartering a plane; she previously organized a jet to take the pair to Tom's native England, where she then met his parents.

Rhode Island seems to be a special place for Tom and Taylor, as it's where they first went public with their relationship in June (16) when they were spotted kissing and cuddling after a romantic walk along the beach there.

His relationship with Taylor has made Tom a household name, and the actor is still trying to come to terms with the new media scrutiny on his personal life.

As he reflected on what he's learned during the crazy summer he's had so far, Tom told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month (Aug16): "It's interesting, we all live in a world where every phone has a camera, and there's nothing new really about the spotlight on me. I think the spotlight, that’s what happens when you're a public figure."
