Taylor Swift and Ellen Page honored at U.K.'s Cosmopolitan Awards

Taylor Swift and Ellen Page were among the honorees at the 2014 Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards on Wednesday night (03Dec14).

Some of the world's most influential females were feted by editors of the U.K. publication during a ceremony at One Mayfair in London.

Just one day after headlining the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Swift was on hand to receive the Ultimate International Music Star prize, while Page was given the Ultimate Inspiration award for "coming out" as gay earlier this year (14).

Meanwhile, Swift's good friend and Girls star Lena Dunham was given the Ultimate Writer accolade, Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer was handed Ultimate Breakthrough Actress, and former Spice Girls singer Melanie Brown was awarded the Ultimate TV Personality, thanks to her current stint as a judge on The X Factor.

The males were not completely left out of the prizegiving - Samuel L. Jackson was feted with the Ultimate International Man of the Year trophy and British pop rockers McBusted were named Ultimate Men of the Year.
