Taylor Swift a big winner at ACM Honors gala
Taylor Swift added another trophy to her collection on Monday (19Sep11) as she was feted at the Fifth Annual ACM Honors gala.
The country singer beamed with pride as she accepted the ACM Jim Reeves International Award for her contributions to the acceptance of country music throughout the world.
Swift thanked her loyal fanbase as she accepted her prize, telling the crowd, "There are so many amazing fans who came out to the shows and gave the Academy of Country Music the idea to give me this award and it's the fans who filled those arenas and came out to the shows and screamed very, very loudly, 'We love you Taylor.' I love you too."
Reba McEntire also picked up a Career Achievement Award at the Nashville, Tennessee ceremony, which was organised by bosses at the Academy of Country Music.
Country legend Garth Brooks was also recognised with the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award.
