Jordin Sparks, Kelly Rowland and Keri Hilson were among the young stars who paid tribute to legendary late entertainers Whitney Houston and Donna Summer at the VH1 Divas concert on Sunday (16Dec12).

Sparks, who co-starred alongside Houston in her last film, Sparkle, before her death in February (12), got on stage to perform a medley of the star's hits with Melanie Fiona and Ledisi, breathing new life into hits I'm Every Woman, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and How Will I Know.

Rowland then formed her own trio alongside Adam Lambert and Hilson to remember the work of Summer, who died in May (12). They performed I Feel Love, Bad Girls and She Works Hard For The Money.

Miley Cyrus showed off her new rock 'n' roll image to perform an update of Billy Idol's 1983 anthem Rebel Yell in a spiked, leather outfit, while Ciara paid homage to Michael Jackson by mashing together the King of Pop's Billie Jean and her new single Got Me Good.

Demi Lovato sang her latest track Give Your Heart A Break, while newly engaged Kelly Clarkson showed off her huge canary diamond ring during her powerful performance of Catch My Breath, which came just a day after she announced boyfriend Brandon Blackstock had proposed.
