Stars join royals to cheer on Andy Murray at Wimbledon
Benedict Cumberbatch, Bradley Cooper and Hugh Grant joined The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Wimbledon on Sunday (10Jul16) to cheer on Andy Murray.
The Scottish tennis ace beat Canada's Milos Raonic in the men's singles finals in straight sets, and he had a lot of celebrity support.
As well as the royal couple and the three leading men, Ellen
DeGeneres was also spotted in the crowd at Center Court.
Ellen was there with Beyonce and Jay Z on Saturday (09Jul16) as
Serena Williams beat Angelique Kerber to claim her 22nd major
singles title at the Wimbledon tennis championships.
Meanwhile, Murray fans who couldn't make it the Wimbledon Men's
Final on Sunday, congratulated the sportsmen on another win via
social media.
Fellow Scots Calvin Harris, Kevin McHale, and Caitriona Balfe, and
actress Sophie Turner were among the first stars to salute the
tennis star, while Mick Jagger tweeted: "Well played Andy!" And
journalist and TV personality Piers Morgan demanded "a bus parade"
for the champion.
