Spice Girls' famous outfits to be sold for charity
The Spice Girls are reportedly raiding their closets and selling their most iconic outfits for charity.
Victoria Beckham is donating the little black dresses which earned her the Posh Spice nickname, Sporty Spice Melanie Chisholm is handing over athletic tracksuits and Geri Halliwell is giving up basque-style mini-dresses.
Leopard print items worn by Melanie Brown and babydoll frocks made
famous by Emma Bunton will also be part of the sale, in aid of U.K.
charities Save The Children and Children In Need, according to
Britain's Daily Mirror.
Beckham, mum to three sons and baby daughter Harper says, "I've got
all my costumes still. I can't wait for Harper to grow a little so
she can have some. But the rest I'd like to put up for charity. I
think it would be a fantastic thing to do."
The auction will take place to mark the launch of the girl group's
upcoming musical Viva Forever!, which opens in London in December
(12).
