Spears 'to regain control of affairs before wedding'
Britney Spears' conservatorship is set to be dropped as she prepares to wed for the third time, according to a U.K. report.
The Toxic hitmaker's father Jamie was handed control of her personal and financial affairs following her much-publicised breakdown in 2008.
Spears has since got her life on track - she's released her seventh
studio album, Femme Fatale, and toured the world to promote the
release.
Her longtime boyfriend and former agent Jason Trawick marked the
end of her 2011 trek by proposing last month (Dec11) - and as the
pair plans its wedding, Spears is set to regain control of her own
affairs.
A source tells Britain's Sunday Express, "Jamie wants to go to
court in early February so Britney will be a free woman in every
sense when she marries."
Spears has been married twice before - to Jason Alexander and Kevin
Federline. Her marriage to Alexander lasted just 55 hours and she
divorced Federline, the father of her two sons, in 2007.
