Sophia Grace lands Little Red Riding Hood role in Into The Woods film

Pint-sized British TV and Internet celebrity Sophia Grace Brownlee is set to make her movie debut as Little Red Riding Hood in the star-studded big screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's musical Into The Woods.

The little girl's uncle, Lucas Brownlee, let the casting news slip in a tweet on Tuesday (06Aug13).

He wrote, "Its official, @PrincessSGB has landed the part of little red riding hood in the disney movie into the wood (sic)... Alongside jonny depp (sic), james corden, chris pine and meryl streep amongst others, out on boxing day 2014."

His niece shot to stardom after performing her favorite cover tunes and posting footage online. She has since become a regular on Ellen DeGeneres' TV show alongside her young cousin Rosie.
