Rapper Snoop Lion has found a surprising new source of revenue after successfully selling virtual stickers for $100 a piece.
The Gin and Juice hitmaker, aka Snoop Dogg, is offering the digital stamps through his Snoopify mobile app, which allows users to stamp their pictures with themed stickers, and he added the sticker called 'Golden Jay' - a slang word for a marijuana spliff - to the online store last week (begs29Jul13).
Fifteen units have already been sold, and even the star's brand
manager, Nick Adler, is surprised fans have snapped up the virtual
item.
He says, "I was shocked. But hey, this is a new world."
