Snoop Dogg has been given a big boost in his bid to become a TV sitcom star - NBC network executives have picked up the show for broadcast.
The Drop It Like It's Hot hitmaker signed on to star as the father in the as-yet-untitled series last month (Sep11) and has been working with producers at Warner Bros to develop the family program.
And now the show, penned by Two and a Half Men writer Don Reo, has found a home on air after NBC bosses purchased the rights this week (ends07Oct11), according to Deadline.com.
The sitcom has yet to be given a premiere date.
