Snoop Dogg and son land reality TV series
Rapper Snoop Dogg is heading back to reality TV for a five-part series with his son.
Snoop & Son: A Dad's Dream will chronicle the Drop It Like It's Hot hitmaker's life as the father of a high school football star.
The project will also feature his son, Cordell Broadus, and the
team he plays for, the Bishop Gorman High School Gaels.
Producer Rory Karpf says, "Football is his way to bond with his
son. It sounds maybe strange but he almost has almost a 1950s
father mentality that you'll see in the show. He's not super
affectionate with his son saying I love you all the time - he does
that more with his daughter - but football is the way he connects
with his son."
The series will debut on ESPN on 14 January (15).
This isn't the first reality TV stint for the rapper - he and his
family previously appeared on Snoop Dogg's Father Hood from 2007 to
2009.
