Snoop Dogg and Diddy's sons to play on same college football team
Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus has announced he's joining UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles), where he'll play college football alongside Sean 'Diddy' Combs's son Justin.
Sports star Broadus is one of the top high school wide receivers in the U.S., and on Wednesday (04Feb15), he revealed he's chosen to stay in his native Los Angeles by accepting an offer to play football for the UCLA Bruins.
In his announcement on sports network ESPN, Broadus, who was joined
by his father, said, "“I feel that UCLA is the best fit for me. I
had the offer since my nine-grade year, so I had a great connection
with the coaches.
"I just want to play in front of my family and keep ballin' out on
the field and get a great degree."
Snoop later took to Twitter.com to gush over his son's achievement,
and wrote, "My son first one in the family to go to college proud
moment for the broadus family!... Sending out love to all the
coaches n (and) universities that recruited our son thank u god
bless."
Broadus joins Diddy's son Justin, who accepted a full scholarship
to play defensive back for the UCLA Bruins in 2011.
