Skrillex postpones Russian gig

Dance DJ Skrillex has been forced to push back a Friday night (07Dec12) concert in Russia due to unforeseen circumstances.

The star has blamed the cancellation of the gig in St. Petersburg on logistical problems, but he has assured fans another weekend (08Dec12) show in Moscow will go ahead as planned.

In a post on his Facebook.com page, he writes: "Guys, it's with extreme sorrow that I have to say this... the show this Friday Dec 07 in St Petersburg Russia has to be postponed due to circumstances completely out of our control. This is a logistics issue, there is no way to physically make this show work considering some new info we just learned.

"Unfortunately there are no options other than to postpone to a later date TBD (to be decided). Moscow on Sat is still on."
