Sistine Stallone heading to New York to pursue modeling full-time

Sylvester Stallone's daughter, Sistine, is heading to New York to immerse herself in the world of fashion.

The 19-year-old, whose mother is model Jennifer Flavin, has become a name to watch in the industry after landing editorials with the likes of Teen Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.

After appearing in a Dolce & Gabbana campaign with her older sister, Sophia Stallone, earlier in the year (17), Sistine has decided to leave home in Los Angeles and head to the Big Apple.

"I am (so excited), but I don't think the rest of my family is," she told W magazine. "They are really sad about it. It makes sense because I come here so often, and I really want to take my career to the next level. New York is the place to do it."

The move marks a big step for Sistine, who originally didn't enjoy posing and "absolutely hated" some of her early test shoots. But she credits her parents with pushing her to continue pursuing fashion as a career.

"To my surprise, he (dad) is very supportive (of modeling)," the brunette beauty said. "He and my mom did a very good job of keeping us away from the public eye. Now, he's like, 'This is your moment. Mine is over, and I want it to be about you'."

When it comes to her work, Sistine counts British supermodel Kate Moss as a major influence - and she once met the star.

"My parents tell me that when I was younger, we went on vacation on our friend's boat and Kate Moss was on the boat... My mom was like, 'Sistine, you don't even know who this is?' I was like, 'I don't care'. Now I look back on the photos and I'm like, 'What was I thinking?'" she sighed.
